White Collar Crime
White Collar Crime cases and investigations are a subcategory of criminal defense. The definition is potentially broad, and includes defense of criminal allegations involving public corruption, for example, alleged bribery; accounting-type fraud allegations; health care fraud allegations; document-intensive proof and alleged misconduct; "honest services" type allegations; allegations of tax fraud; and others. Mr. Fanciullo represents individuals and entities, targets of investigations, defendants in cases, and subjects and witnesses.

Litigation of business matters, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, fiduciary issues, civil RICO, and many others. One recent civil case included patent issues and allegations of violation of numerous federal criminal laws.

Litigation regarding contracts and related matters, including breach of contract.

Defense of accused persons in drug cases, including suppression motions and hearings, trials and appeals. Were the alleged illegal drugs allegedly seized from a car, a residence, elsewhere? Were incriminating statements allegedly made? The circumstances will be examined and appropriate motions to suppress may be made.

US Sentencing Guidelines
Although no longer "mandatory," the guidelines add another level of complexity to federal sentencing. Mr. Fanciullo has been working with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines since their implementation in 1987.
